These core routers are engineered to serve demanding edge markets and are able to support the applications required to power customers’ 4G and 5G service requirements. Equipped with security, time telemetry, segment routing and ethernet virtual private networks, they also feature core MPLS routing and enhanced port flexibility supporting 1G to 400G and new form factors. The Cisco technology will reinforce blueAPACHE’s ability to scale in line with customer acquisition and growth with a suite of services, including network management, desktop management, server management, security management, disaster recovery management and mobility management. “Cisco is excited to work with blueAPACHE to provide the latest networking technology as they embark on their national network refresh project. Cisco’s innovation in software and systems designs, enables automation to create scalable and secure networks at a speed. This will support the capacity increase that underpins blueAPACHE core offerings and managed services,” says Cisco Australia & New Zealand vice president Ken Boal.
