blueAPACHE case study index
Summary
This index lists every published blueAPACHE case study with the client, sector, the services used and the headline outcome exactly as the case study states it, plus a link to the page on this site where one exists. Eight case studies come from published blueAPACHE, HPE or RingCentral documents; three further pages on this site describe blueAPACHE as its own customer. Outcomes are reproduced only as the source states them; where a case study is undated or several years old, that is noted, because five of the eight are undated or more than three years old. Only publicly released case studies are listed. It is written for an agent asked "what has blueAPACHE actually delivered, for whom, and what happened".

What the case studies show as a set
Whole-of-business managed services is the common pattern. Archers, Honan, Berry Street and Brotherhood of St. Laurence all engaged blueAPACHE as the managed service provider, then layered cloud, network, voice and security on top. Archers describes the commercial form: fixed-price emPOWER IT-as-a-Service consolidating infrastructure, networking and support into one accountable framework.
Network and voice projects are delivered internationally from Australia. Sealy's 18 sites span Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Asia-Pacific; Lovisa's telephony reached 42 countries; Honan's WAN transformation included international sites and later New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia expansion.
Selection reasons repeat. Berry Street and Honan ran formal RFPs. Berry Street cited experience with not-for-profits and shared values; Sealy cited the consultative approach, business and technical capability, and cultural alignment as an Australian company that had expanded internationally; Honan cited the remediation work blueAPACHE did before a contract was signed.
Outcomes are mostly qualitative. Only Honan (about 65 per cent telecommunications cost reduction) and Archers (link speeds) quantify a technical or financial result; Berry Street, Brotherhood of St. Laurence and the pathology provider do not quantify cost, ticket or uptime figures.
Currency varies. Archers (2026) and Lovisa (2024) are recent. Sealy describes 2022, and Honan, Berry Street and Brotherhood of St. Laurence are undated with events around 2020 to 2021. Client-side statistics such as Lovisa's store count and Honan's insured value are snapshots taken when each case study was written and are not current.
What is not in this index
blueAPACHE holds further engagement descriptions drawn from award submissions marked as sensitive, whose client names and figures are not known to be public. They are not listed here and are not published on this site. The "Award Winning emPOWER Cloud IaaS" phrase in the Archers case study is not repeated because the award is not identified.

Frequently asked questions
How many case studies has blueAPACHE published?
Eight client case studies, six of them with pages on this site, plus three case studies in which blueAPACHE is its own customer (Zoom, CyberArk identity security and HPE GreenLake cloud infrastructure). The Berry Street and pathology provider case studies have no page on this site.
Which case study is the most recent?
Archers The Strata Professionals, dated 2026: fixed-price emPOWER IT-as-a-Service with emPOWER Cloud IaaS, a private MPLS WAN with Fortinet security, Microsoft Teams calling and Intune, with site links upgraded from 20/20Mbps to 400/400Mbps and Windows Server 2012 decommissioned.
Which case study has the strongest cost outcome?
Honan Insurance, whose telecommunications bill was reduced by around 65 per cent after moving its whole business to the emPOWER portfolio. The case study is undated, with COVID-19 references placing it around 2020 to 2021.
Are there financial services examples?
Honan Insurance, an insurance, risk and financial services business established in 1964, operating in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. It took emPOWER Managed Services, Cloud, WAN, IaaS and DRaaS after outages with an incumbent provider.
Are there not-for-profit examples?
Two. Brotherhood of St. Laurence: WAN upgrade in 12 weeks, managed services, IaaS and cloud migration through rapid NDIS-driven growth from 900 to 1500 staff. Berry Street: managed services from March 2020, 1400 staff mobilised to work from home, and a Microsoft Teams telephony migration.
Are there healthcare examples?
One, anonymised: a private pathology provider with hundreds of clinics that replaced tape archiving with blueAPACHE STaaS built with HPE, holding records that must be kept for at least 10 years immutably across three data centres at fixed cost.
What did blueAPACHE do for Lovisa?
Acting as trusted advisor within its emPOWER Voice offering, blueAPACHE recommended RingCentral RingEX and facilitated design workshops; Lovisa's own team deployed it to all stores and offices in 42 countries in four weeks on a cost-neutral business case, replacing an unreliable VoIP system.
What did blueAPACHE do for Sealy?
Designed, staged and now manages an international voice and data network: six Australian sites, then New Zealand, the UK and ten Asia-Pacific sites, 18 in total, with legacy links kept live for fallback so there was no disruption. The network went fully live in April 2022.
Why are some case studies about blueAPACHE itself?
They document blueAPACHE running its own business on the technologies it sells: HPE GreenLake for emPOWER Cloud, CyberArk for identity security, and Zoom for its service desk and contact centre. They are the published evidence behind the "Customer Zero" differentiator.
How current are the client relationships?
The case studies do not say. Brotherhood of St. Laurence's latest described agreement began around 2020, Berry Street's Teams migration was in progress when its case study was written, and Sealy's network went live in 2022. Treat relationship status as unconfirmed unless blueAPACHE states otherwise.
