#teamblue tribe members grow a mo to raise awareness and support men's health
At blueAPACHE, we pride ourselves not just on our ability to support our staff and clients, but also our support of community initiatives such as Movember. Aiming to raise $1,000 this year, 10 #teamblue tribe members volunteered to grow a mo in support of this great cause. Movember is a charity that funds ground-breaking projects all over the world, tackling prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention and every year in November, Mo Bros (men) and Mo Sistas (women) across the world participate in this cause to raise awareness and much-needed funds in support of men's health. The generosity exhibited by our #teamblue community was incredibly humbling, as a collective, our team exceeded our fundraising target, raising a total of $1,395! To thank the amazing Mo Bros who sported some upper-lip growth in support of this important initiative, blueAPACHE presented awards in 3 categories according to the results of an all-staff poll. Congratulations to the following 2019 blueAPACHE Movember award winners:
- The Doctor's Award – for the bro with the healthiest mo on show
Awarded to Justin Fagents - The Betternot Award – for the bro who better not grow a mo ever again
Awarded to James Bubbers - The Participation Award – for the bro who tried to grow a mo, but it doesn't really show
Awarded to Adam Soper
